Any ideas on what to charge for thatching?

I usually charge 2 to 4 times the mowing rate, just depends on the property, ammount of "thatch" I have to haul off, and whether or not they are a regular customer. While I understand that thatching may not be nearly as beneficial to the lawn as aerating is, I still like to do it and kinda prefer to thatch over aerating (that of course will change when I get my aerator for my Walker).

    :) payup

De-thatching is one of those labor intensive jobs that you need to make it worth your trouble then add a fee in there for pain & suffering in case you under bid. Originally I had decided against offering this service for 2008 but now I'm sold on it.
