If one attatches an Edge it to the Echo, can you still use it for trimming as well as edging or do you have to change the head back to stock to trim..

You can multi-task w/the Edgit! You can use your Echo to trim just as before and have the ability to create an expert edge with it as well.

easy as pie. Take off the trimmer head, remove 3 screws holding on the guard, and replace the guard with the edgit attachment and use the included screws. Takes less than 5 minutes.

Why do you need an edgit? Use a stick edger for the majority of edges. When you use your trimmer to edge, you still don't need an edgit.

The Edgit allows you to eliminate a step, thereby saving time, as when you're done trimming, there is no need to remove back to the trailer to retrieve a separate piece of equipment (there is no need for stick/wb edgers for a maintained edge) to edge; and the addition of the Edgit to your trimmer gives a much cleaner edge then without it.
