My favorite part of the mower is this thing right here, the suspension seat. I would not own one without now.

I didn't know if i would like these handles but they are awesome. They make one handed operation a breeze!

We'll see how the power goes when this puppy gets broke in.

Nice mower -- I pick up a used 830a today. Looks like they changed the trim side caster arm angle on the new ones. It appears that yours mirrors the right side but on mine the trim side angle is nearly straight.

I believe that is only for the Z970 because the only deck you can get is the 72 inch, the rest of the new models have a straight arm angle on the trim side....at least mine does

No hills yet, just a ditch and no sliding whatsoever. It looks like the stance is wider on this one and with the nearly 20f/ 80r weight distribution i cant imagine it having any problems on the hills.
I traded in an 830a and i have slid down a few hills on it but it was a very controlled slide no nose dives like a few others I have been on. What i mean is if you are mowing sideway it never felt like the front wanted to go down or the machine never felt tippy, it would always start sliding in the rear on steep stuff and you could angle out of it.

Looks like rain for the next few days so no mowing for a bit.

I have a 60% chance of mowing tomorrow! I hope the rain holds off.

Confirmed, no problems with the hills. I just have to get used to a 72" deck.
