    This is a good idea. I tell my customers to run each zone 1/2 what they want to water, but to cycle it twice. That allows the water to soak in and does prevent some of the runoff down the street.

    It is a good idea but the presentation is off a little with the "do you drink a whole day of water at one time". We expect to water a lawn 3 to 4 days worth or more at one time.
