Every once in a while we get that job which as a whole or in part makes us think about why we do the long hours, late nights, and usually while no one notices. Here is one of those for me.

It is a infinity edged pool with the city behind it and a beautiful solid bronze statue coming out of the water. This is the view from the customers sitting area. The wife did all of the design of the pool and landscape.

    Tommy -
That is beautiful!! How many fixtures did you use? Where are you lighting from?

I used a Kichler LED narrow spot from 25 ' above under the second story eave. It took 3 of us 3 hours to get it just right, placement was critical to get the look I wanted. Customers almost started crying when they came around the corner.

Well done Tommy... however you had better study up on install and aiming techniques... 9 man hours? Really? c'mon now... you mean it took an hour to install it, then you sat around for 4 hours waiting for it to get dark, then you took 45 mins to aim it, and then you admired it for 3 hours and 45 mins! :)

It was in a difficult place to get to, but really it was more like 2 of us while someone watched from below...LOL It was more work than usual for one light.

probably needed to throw out the 180 bucks per fixture on that one. that is truly a beautiful effect Tommy. I too would have invested the time to get that one perfect.
