Nope, Chevy/GMC, Ford, and Dodge all implemented the DPF in 2007 per EPA regulation.

Im sorry but I know for a fact the DPF's were introduced on Chevy's LLM motors, which debuted for the 2008 trucks. Dodge got the DPF's when they released the 6.7 in 07.5, and I was wrong with Fords as they had DPF's on the debut of the 6.4 motors in 08 aswell. All where implemented in the year 2007, but where on the 07.5-08 trucks... Im looking at all the information right now.

They went to the 6.7 because they severed ties with international because of the 6.0 issues the 6.4 was oy offered so ford could offer a diesel and comply with EPA.
And for the record the 6.0 and 6.4 are not that bad for the purpose they were built " for large trucks with proper gearing" it is only when the tunes are
hot rodded that there is an issue. which is why ford detuned them in 06 with their module reprogram which lost power and mpg.

Just as the 6.7 Ford and LML Duramax are both 2011 model year, they actually went on sale mid 2010.

I dont think you understand, im not talking year of manufacturing, im talking model year. The LMM engines where produced for model years 2008-2010, same thing with the 6.4 powerstroke. You may have bought your truck in late 2007, but it was a model 2008. All model years are released halfway through the year.
