hill full of poison ivy in shorts.... sounds like some of my goofs!
Neither my brother nor i get poison ivy.
i just wash my legs off with Purel. works pretty good. lol
1.Around here we are very wooded with tight roads, its harder to pull a big 20 foot enclosed around the tight areas we do.
2.We also live in a VERY hilly area so we are towing up and down huge hills all day, the enclosed are heavier and less air efficent so it would kill more gas then towing with the open trailers.
3. Im not a fan of having to struggle to try and fill the mowers every morning at the gas station with them crammed inside the enclosed trailer. its much easier and faster to fill them up on the enclosed.
4.All my buddies who have enclosed trailers around me have destroyed the outsides of them from backing into driveways with branches scraping down the sides of it. I don't really trust the guys working for me to back a big enclosed trailer up without destroying it.
The list goes on for me really. althoe i like the added security/shelter an enclosed provides its just not for us.
One from today, the home owners mower broke down and he decided he was done mowing. The grass was about 8-9 inches high some spots were 10+ inches.
Thanks for the response!
I understand your reasoning with sticking to an open trailer, we just started running an enclosed trailer and love it. What we do is run a 50gallon drum of gas inside the trailer to put gas in the machines along with a smaller tank for mix gas. It seems to work good for us but everyone has there preferences
oh yea 10" of grass. mowing in 100 degree weather with high humitity. gotta love it.
it was a warm one thats for sure.
I've always wondered why cameras don't show how a hill really looks in person...
2D my friend.
