    Buy it! That trimmer deserves to go to a good home, where someone will take care of it, and knows what they are doing with it.

    So true, older equipment is so much nicer. I have a '89 Ferris that has had 4 owners from what I know including two commerical and a farm! It is def a trooper, all though 11 years ago it got a new engine it still has been amazing and that engine now is pretty much used up!

    That thing has barely been used. Still has all the paint on the gear case. Don't let the inverted cylinder bother you, just buy it.
