I'm buying a skid steer in the next 2 weeks so i need to figure out on what trailer i want to get real soon.

I been looking at kaufmans and interested in this trailer

I'd like to go gooseneck since i will be towing alot of weight. They are telling me
the trailer weighs around 3300lbs with 7k axles. Thats one reason i want to go with them. Alot of these trailer companies have a whole different frame for the 7k axles from the 6k and then the trailer ends up weight 4500-4600lbs which is to heavy for me. I'm staying away from deck over, because i've read from other members on this site about diffculty driving on and off, and i'm trying to save weight!

I'm going to be towing a 7000lbs skid steer and a 1000lbs in attachments with a 05 ram 2500 cummins.

    Matt

I just bought a trailer from kaufman and it is really nice. I got a 20ft 14k heavy duty landscape trailer. I live in Virginia so I just drove down and picked it up. You showed a goose neck trailer so that would eliminate the weight on you hitch and put it on your rear end. You would be fine with a standard bumper pull equipment trailer. The trailers are top quaility and the operation is pretty amazing. They have a huge yard of completed trailers. Good luck.
