I have roughly a 1500-2000 square foot lawn. I was wondering about how much it will cost be to have an irrigation system professionally installed. I live in Raleigh, NC and my soil is very heavy clay.

Whatever you do, SPEND the money on a proper design from a reputable, Licensed company.

I deal with SO MANY problems from poorly designed, poorly installed systems.

It's not worth it to try and save money on your irrigation system.

Got it last week. $2400 for 4 zones. I was thinkin' about a 5th zone towards the back, but it's a small area that doesn't get much sun and the drainage isn't all that good, so I held off. Would have been an extra $350.

Really nice system, great coverage. Puts out at least two tenths of an inch in all zones in 10 minutes. NICE.
