sold my 16' dump trailer. wanting to upgrade to a larger trailer with more gvw.
waiting to hear back on a dual tandem dump, but found this one forsale about 3hrs from me.

    2006 Texas Pride
    7' x 18'
    triple 7k# axles
asking $6k for it(said he would take $5k cash)

i really like how the its a low profile, would be easier to load with my mustang skidsteer or even a min skid.
if i dont hear back on the dual tandem , i might go look at this one.

any pros or cons on the triple axle(besides more tires)

Negatives you dont have the redundency of duals and your gonna scrub a little more in turns.

Positives are its lower so it can be loaded with smaller machines and would be easier to put equipment in it if you have to.

I like the dual tandem one from your other thread. This one would be a lot easy-er to load but it looks to low for me. Another thing is with 3 axles you are going to eat the tires off that trailer in turns. But if it fits your needs then buy it, i don't think it is a bad trailer.

In Oklahoma the DOT look for quad tandems and 3 axle trailers. If there is not DOT numbers on the truck they know the GVW will exceed the min and pull you over automatic. Known of 3 companys pulled over and given $1500.00 tickets. I know only 1 company that has a 3 axle gooseneck flatbed, his only complaint is tire wear. But stated the overall weight of the empy trailer is less than a quad tandem

How do you like it? I'm interested in getting a 16' 14k# Gooseneck from Texas Pride!
