I actually like the overhang over the cab, more storage and more space to put logo etc...

It's a Ford. I know it's gas, but still a Ford. You know how I feel about that! lol If you get it then be on the lookout for overhanging trees. That's the thing I had to get used to the most. Scratches suck.

I wouldn't count on saving any money on gas with that. Yeah gas is cheaper but that thing will get less than half of what your diesel is getting. I have an 04 ford diesel and just bought a 97 ford gasser for a work truck and I get about 7 pulling a trailer and 9 maybe 10 just running around. My 97 is a 351 and just a regular cab with a pickup bed. I'm guessing that is a 460 and you have that big box that's gonna kill your millage.

I have a crew cab fuso with 18' box and steel ramp on back. The truck is a diesel and the indicator on dash says I average 12.5 mpg Cant imagine how bad mpg is with gas

Looks like a good find to me. As long as the motor and tranny are solid! Alot of bilboard space.Looks like it would make a great irrigation truck. Something you take to the $$$$$ jobs and don't have to drive it everyday know what I mean.... I bought a f350 dump this year with a v10 ... happy with the truck but it loves hanging out at the gas stations lol.

I would pass on it. Look around for an NPR or the like, they are going to be MUCH more worth your time. Would be a good find if you were going to be staying in town, but that thing is going to get MAX 8 mpg on the highway, and at that rate your tanks will be empty when you get to the job site. Just my 2 cents!

I too want a box truck and I thought I wanted one like that as well till I realized how much trouble it was to work on the engine.I going with Npr or the like.Flip cabs are easier to get to the engine especially if you need to swap a motor.:)
