Where do you prefer the throttle control on you backpack blower, to the left or on the tube? I want to order a new one on the tube but the dealer says that you need to be careful of breakage on the tube? Your thoughts?

order what you want and take care of it.

    if it breaks, fix it.

you'll be happier not settling for something you don't want when you use it everyday.

everything can break, it's all in how much respect you give it

On the tube! Don't really see how that would "break" the tube, as most backpack blowers today have pistol grips on the tubes anyways even if the throttle is on the left. Having it on the tube frees up your left hand to hold other things, move branches / stuff out of the way, etc.

Ya I've seen echos with the throttle on the left, it makes for crappy situations when your in tight places and you get hung up on bushes, ect. Makes it easier to break them off.
