    Mysterious. Fascinating.
    I don't see how "uneven frost " would be a likely explanation. Do you see uneven frost patterns on your windshield glass? On other plants or grass types?
    I don't see how this could be uneven mowing or height of grass. Greater maturity of certain areas perhaps.
    Is there any relation to fertilizer applied in the last few weeks?
    Interesting that the patterns are curved, and usually curve within about 12 inches.

    That is wild. Thought it was carpet in some hotel hallway when I first glanced at it. Lol, I was looking for the elevator!
