Is anyone using or have used the Pocketclock by Exaktime for tracking jobs and crews? We are thinking about buying a few and trying them, so I was just looking for some insite.

They're freaking expensive. I looked into them last year and changed my mind quickly. Unless you have unreliable guys/gals that you think are messing with their time sheets then it would be worth it.

I'll second that. Way too much overhead for time tracking. You'd have to be running 10-20 crews minimum to make that a good purchase.

I didnt think it was to bad when you consider that it tracks all crews, jobs and travel, shop time etc. It would keep from the time cards and buddy fudging system going on. I am even thinking of getting the gps tracking unit, it does not take long to recover $800 in payroll when they may be sitting at the local gas station for 15 minutes, and 3 guys at cost of $20hr per man.
