well, i had to rent an overseeder for tomorrow, cause i have a few lawns that grubs got to last year and a few others are patchy and they want them to look nice and uniform. are there any tips for me when using the overseeder? in most instances ive just placed new topsoil and reseeded the area, but this was done a few years ago and isnt necessary. do i need to go over an area more than once with the seeder? or is one pass enough?

good idea. when fertilizing its a good to cut the rate in half and go two ways, so i guess it makes since overseeding that way.

Make sure the soil temp in in the upper 50s or higher. If not the seed may not germinate.
