    Dear Lawnsite,

What's up? I was wondering if I should rotate my tires on my Turf Tracer. I'm talking about the rear ones. I don't think it would matter, but I just put a some brand new ones on that baby and want them to last more than 2 years this time.

    Sincerly,

    Ted

I doubt it would help to rotate. The tires that lasted only 2 years, were they Carlisle??

They were just whatever came with the mower. It was my fault though cause I would let them get too low.

Jeez what are you mowing hot concrete i have a walk behind with 1000k hours and the tires are still decent.

The reason I asked about Carlisle tires. I only got 2 years out of them on a hydro walk behind. Got a great deal on some Cheng Shin tires on ebay and they lasted 4 years. My new mower has Carlisle, so hopefully they last a little longer this time.

    Are you turning on concrete?

Nothing wears out tires faster than concrete.
