I have an old jacobsen outfront commercial mower that i want to adapt a snowplow onto(it was an option). the tractor now has 23x8.50x12 turf tires and i know they will suck in the snow and slush. I am looking at atv type tires.

what tire design would be the best for snow/slush/ice?
the stiener tractors with plows have a AG type tire, the v pattern.
there are also knobby, dimple knobby, cleated lug, lug.
anyone know a good source for tires?

I did forget to mention Gateway Tires. If they have one of those in your area, they carry a lot of l/g tires and atv tires as well as regular vehicle tires. Back in Louisiana, we have Gateway service centers all over, plus the Gateway warehouse. Might be worth looking into.
