i have decided on a 52 scag mainly because of dealer location
my question is what is the price difference between tiger cubs
and turf tiger is the difference worth it. i have 3and a half bumpy
but not to hilly acres with a lot of trees
    thanks!!!!

the turf tiger just has more power which you need for tall grass and fast cuts. The tiger cub is more compact but less power.

Tiger is also better built and more engine chooses, bigger pumps, & better on hills.

The Cub is belt driven deck as opposed to the drive shaft on the Tiger. Cub is less expensive to repair in this regard, and may transfer more power to the blades by not utilizing the driveshaft mechanism.

A 23 hp Motor on a 52 is pretty sufficient.

The Cub has a low center of gravity, and may be as good or better then a full Tiger.

The Cub can be turned sideways on a 82" wide trailer saving space where the Tiger must go in straight.

I prefered my Cub to my Tiger.

I would get a Cub if I were getting a 52 and save some cash. If you go 61 or more you have to get a Wildcat or Tiger. I would likely opt for the Tiger then. Just my opinion.
