Met a guy through a mutual friend the other day who got a huge promotion at his FT job and almost doubled his salary, so he's shutting down his PT lawn care biz.
I asked him if he had any equipment he was looking to sell...
I got this response...."For $6000 you can have all of this...."

    2004 Exmark Metro 15HP KAWASAKI 48" 100hrs.
    2004 Encore ZTR 19HP KAWASAKI 48" 230 hrs.
2005 Toro Recycler 6.5Hp Briggs (maybe 50 hrs.)
    2004 Echo Backpack blower
    2004 Echo Handheld blower
    2004 Echo SRM-260S Trimmers (2)
    2004 EZ Dumper 8ft.
    2005 6X12 Dual axle trailer

I've always bought things only as I needed them to keep my overhead down, but I'm thinking maybe I should just dump the cash for what seems to be a lot of decent equipment for a good price.... Is it a good price?

    Any feedback/opinions would be great.

buy it if the years are correct and everything is in good shape. Ask if he has a customer list that he could include.

Thats good stuff, I would buy it, to bad he doesn't have a full sized Z though.
Thast an awsome deal considering the two mowersa alone would be well over 6k

I thought the same thing about the full size Z...LOL

I also already have a Quick36 Super Duty, so I wouldn't really need the Exmark WB. I'm spoiled from the single hydro on the Quick, not to mention the minimal space it takes up, quality of cut, etc.... So I know I'm definitely keeping that.

I'm thinking I might sell the Exmark because I know there are a lot of people that swear by gear drives and would love to have it with hours that low.
Any idea what it might go for? (ballpark figure)

I'd buy it, sell it all but the EZ Dumper and probably still profit off the deal
