Just curious as to what other think about dormant seeding going on the first of March. I had a few calls for this over the last couple days but with the snow cover on for the last week I could not do it. Wondering others opinion on timing.
    Thanks in advance

Right now is when you should be seeding for the spring. I would also to have loved to have some of this work done already, but the weather hasn't been to cooperative. Go ahead and seed as soon as you get the chance.

yup, a agree. we do it this week. i dont like to seed in spring much due to it not getting as established unless you use a biostimulant, but no one wants to pay for those. we do it as needed though. you cant really be too early if you start in late feb or march. the seed will lye dormant and get "primed" while it is still cold at night, but when soil warms more and rain/watering start then look out!
