to till or not to till?

I just read on another thread that roto-tilling isn't the way to go? I just recently took on the project of renovating my backyard. It is approximately 75x150 ft. Right now about a third of this has been roto-tilled but I had some problems with my tractor so this is as far as I have gotten. What does everyone suggest I should have done, just aerated, topdressed, and overseeded. I killed the entire area with roundup before tilling so where can I go from here or am I pretty much committed to tilling the rest? Thanks for your help.:)

you might as well just till the whole thing now. If you hadn't used the roundup you could have tryed just fertilizer, lime, and overseeding/slitseeding. you could also use a power rake, like harley makes. Maybe u could rent a smaller one for on a ventrac or skidsteer.
