We could have a thread of its own debating which multitool to carry. I'm pretty much sold on the Wave though. All I wish it had was that the inside tools (screwdrivers etc) locked like the outside blades.

Still the most comfortable multitool I've owned.

I like the multitool that you can get from hunterrewards... but I dont understand why they haven't added a hunter adjustment tool on it yet...

    Leatherman.......nope, I carry a pair of channel locks and a 4n1
cell phone......stays in the #^@% truck where it belongs (well, it belongs at the office, closest compromise I'm willing to make)
Pipe cutters....yep, right rear pocket (pliers and 4n1 in left rear)
I don't carry an irritool, just a hex key screwdriver combo and a paperclip.

You carry the suck-tube as necessary personal gear? Or just w/ you in the truck? I've got a cheap radio shack multi-meter that ends up in my shirt pocket for a majority of service calls too.

How 'bout extending this to specialty tools that have to be in the truck w/ you?

The suck-tube was mentioned, I have a similar hand pump that I "have" to have w/ me.
    Cordless Sawzall and drill
    Rambit 3/4 and 1"
valve tracer/locator (not a wire tracer like locate guys use)
