Top contract clauses

    For both residential and commercial contracts, what are your top three must have clauses ?



    Also, do you include an "out" for yourself as well, and if so, what is it? late payment, etc??

    #1. Due date

    #2. Cash or check only (no food stamps or hard luck stories)

    #3. Late fees (I am NOT blockbuster, I do charge late fees)

    I'll have to agree(However, here's four):

    due date

    late fees

    30 day cancellation notice (so i'll get 4 or 5 more services/trips)

    automatic renewal of contract and continue to renew after each completion until written terminated in writting.
