What do you guys use to spread/level topsoil?

We are killing ourselves using our loader and hand raking !!!!

Any suggestions on spreading equipment ???

When you say loader do you mean bobcat or tractor? It really doesn't matter.

The best tip I have is to use your loader like a dozer. Bucket level and take a small corner of your dirt pile. Don't dump your bucket!!! it will fill up and turn it into a blade use your up and down only and take small cuts out of your pile. Try to avoid back dragging use your forward cutting edge. Small bucket tilts up or down to cut or push.
I learned this method from some very good loader operators. I use a 980G to spread coal and make a pad level enough for 18 wheel end dumps to dump on.
When I am doing a dirt job I rent a bobcat or a 4X4 tractor. Hand rake..............not any more.

    Hope this helps.
