My toro suzuki runs fin in low and hi speeds but today i was in some thick grass when the engine boged at hi so i slowed up to let the engine regain rpms it never did. The engine contiuned to surge evan when I cut the blade off then it was fine but as soon as i started the blade it would surge. Plug is new gas is fresh and exhuast port is clean. Any ideas:confused:

    Things you may consider:

    !. Carb obstruction
    2. Blocked pilot jet on top of carb
    3. Improperly adjusted governor or worn governor though unlikely since you say it had been running OK
4, Again, unlikely for the same reason in 3, a worn throttle shaft allowing the carb to suck excessive air. To test for this situation, spray some carb/choke cleaner on the top of the throttle shaft. If you notice the rpm's even out this could be a problem.
