I called my local dealer (who i am friendly with and have bought all of my mowers from) to find out if he had any used ztrs in. Because a 7,500 new one is out of my price range. He said no but he has a Toro Z Master 400 with a 21 kawi and a 52" deck that he needs to move. I think it might be an 08 leftover. He told me 4500! Its a little dirty and has been sitting outside since it was assembled last year. But is still new with a warranty.

Anyway it has a 7 gauge deck instead of the Turbo Force. Anyone use the 7 gauge deck?

I just bought one this week and am quite happy with it. The turbo force just had the adjustable baffle. I would probably never move the baffle when I am working anyway. That is a great price.

Thanks i don't need the adjustable baffles anyway. If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for yours?

    Nothing wrong with Toro decks.

I just picked one up last week. Brand new 08 also. I paid $5900 but it came out of the crate!! I love it.. The cut is great!

please clarify, stated above in this post I would be led to believe that the Turbo Force deck is other than 7 gauge. I've been researching the 30494 which states that it has a 7 gauge Turbo Force Deck...is this post about an older non-Turbo Force deck vs a newer Turbo Force deck (which happen to both be 7 gauge?)? I'm confused. I'll thank you now for the clarification.

I have the TF and never found a need to adjust it. I mow with the deck wide open. My brother has a 7 guage and loves it. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
