How can you tell that your clutch is going out. I have 13 hp 36" walkbehind Toro.It boggs down in high grass the motors at full speed, but the blades stop Help. Thanks

There's no telling for sure, so first I would check the belt for proper tension and if it's pretty worn out maybe replace it. Because when something is slipping it could be the belt, clutches tend to last a good time.

topsites thoughts on check the belt for proper tension is a good place to start.

If you start the mower cold and run it where you know the blades are slowing down, shut the mower off right away and check the blade drive pulleys for heat. They will get hot if they are slipping a lot. Same thing with the clutch. Whichever one is slipping will get warm pretty quick. Just don't get burnt testing!
