Toro, Exmark, Scag, or Simplicity?

    I want a new hydro, so far i've only checked on the Toro 44" proline 17hp kaw. for $5400. what is your opinion on what i should get out of the 4 listed?(thats what the dealer sells). thanks

    bought 2 new exmark 48's, turf tracer with 17 kaws, in July. The guys love 'em. No problems so far, and they've seen some heavy use already, with almost 300 hours on one of the units.

    The Scag is very very heavy duty so if you are looking for reliability this unit is built like a tank....we use the 36" hydro.

    The spindles on a scag wb will last forever.
    However for a hydro walk I would look at ferris. Their super wide track makes pretty good sense. Especially for pulling a velke.

    i hear ferris is good but its not on the list. no dealer around.

    id go scag because the are built like tanks and the new velocity deck leaves a very nice cut

    second, on that Scag cut. Picked up my new 48" on Monday and it leaves a perfect cut. :cool2:
