Toro G3 or Z500 (exmark guys can chip in same mowers)

    Buying a new toro, and curious if its worth the extra $$ to get the new G3?

    it looks like you have all Exmark. Is there a reason why you are going to a Toro.

    If you have hills then go with the newer design for sure.

    I didn't try the G3, but the Lazer cuts pretty amazing in dry grass. Wet is another story.

    We have all Toro here at the course and my Toro saleman said that he will sell me a Z560 for $8,000 with a 30 horse Kohler or a 27horse for $7000 both with 60 in deck. Haven't done any research on these mowers but what do yall know about these mowers.

    i have a 2005 z500 and i always liked it, but last fall i got a g3 and it is way better. it really holds a hill. even in wet conditions it doesn't tear the grass. i think alot of the reason for that is the lower center of gravity and the new multi track tires.very responsive. the roll bar folds all the way down. one gas cap for 12 gal tank.all this adds up to a far better mower.
