I have a 2005 Toro Proline (36", 13hp Kawasaki) with the fabricated deck that came just before the newer deck with the adjustable baffle. I get quite a bit of blowout from the front of the deck (it seems to be more prevalent on the left side as you walk behind the mower) and am wondering if I could set it up differently (blade spacers under the deck? etc) to solve this problem. Any ideas? Thanks

I don't think you can put spacers under the deck. They have a bolt that goes up through the blade from underneath. I would try a different blade like a Gator or mulching blade. You might try lowering the deck in front one setting. If you are just doing leaves this won't be a problem. If you are mowing grass still you will have to leave the deck level. Also check your blade height in the front and the back with the blade facing forward.
