:help: I have a toro proline 118 52 inch which suddenly started blowing fuses for cutting deck and ignition after about 5 minutes of mowing. Wiring also gets really hot. Has anyone had this problem before?

Most likely you can examine the wiring everywhere and will find a chafed wire. It will most likely be where it goes through a hole or is clamped somewhere in place.

Failing that, connect an ohmmeter between the output side of the fuse holder and ground. It will probably read very low, disconnect the deck connection and the ignition connection in turn and see if either one raises the reading significantly. Whichever one does raise the reading is the circuit with the problem. You will have to have the switches on and the fuse disconnected when you do this.

    Good luck,
