Toro Recycler 32.

    Looking for feedback on the Toro 32 inch single blade recycler. Hows the mulching ability in Cool Season grasses and how is the finish cut while mulching? Does it compare as a mulcher to Exmarks 36 TTHP?

    I did not like mine. Only 1 blade, and it clumped a lot when mulching and you can't side discharge with it. I would stay away from it. Go for a 36".

    Did yours clump when mulching normal growth or just when the grass was tall? Say cutting 2.5 to 2.75 in and taking less than 2 in growth?

    Stay away from single blade 32" Proline...Scalps...performs poorly in Lush Growth...Go w/the Twin Blade.

    The single blade bends if you hit an ant hill. I would go with a double blade.

    mine clumped on a regular basis. it worked ok when its dry, but any moisture and it's real bad.

    Fareway, do you have a theory as to the lousy lush growth performance? Lack of HP, blade design, to big of a chamber, deck pitch? I would of thought that a larger chamber [Exmark 36 does better than 48] would make this a good mulcher. In lush growth does it leave clumps or a grass trail? By the way if you are looking for Suzuki non BBC 21in prolines there are some here $999.
