What is the toro timecutter blade tip speed?
Best I could find was some where between 17,000 to 18,000 fpm. That was from the UK thou. I saw one today mowing. Seemed like it was doing a pretty good job. My mother in law across the street neighbor is a equipment salesman. They sell several brands of mowers. He get's to bring demos home to mow his lawn. Seen him with Toro, Kubota, Husqvarna , and Hustler. Told me a couple of weeks ago he was going to buy a Toro Time Cutter for his self.
Dealer told me he thought it was around 12,000. But that the blade speed does not matter in quality of cut. Deck design being more important.
I think it's a little faster than that. But he's right about Deck design being important.
Depends on how fast you want to mow.
