Hey there, I've got a toro 5020 timecutter with the 23hp Kohler motor. I was wondering if it's alright to tow an aerator, a cart, or a lawn roller behind my mower? The manual says no, but it also tells me to engage the clutch at the highest rpms possible... What's your opinion on towing?
    Thanks

Aerator wouldn't be a problem could see where a heavy loaded cart or roller may be bad on hydros. Does it have a hitch?

It doesn't have a hitch but toro makes 2 different styles. They have an 80lb limit, so I think I would be safe up to that.

timecutter is mainly residential isn't it? If so it probably has weaker hydraulics which might be why they say not to.
