I have a question about how to perform engine speed adjustments regarding any and all of the Toro TNT series of 4-cycle engines (TNT100 and TNT120) made by Tecumseh: is it true that you can use the Tecumseh #670326 governor adjustment tool on the tab that the left end of the governor spring hooks to, and to bend that tab left for more speed and right for less speed?

All you do is to remove the air cleaner housing lid, and then take your pliers or the #670326 tool to gain access to the governor tab.

Also: has anyone tried to perform basic governor adjustments (with air cleaner lid removed) whilst the engine is running, gripping your pliers on the tab that regulates the speed of the engine?

These are suggestions for anyone with a Toro mower which uses any one of the two TNT series engines, TNT100 and TNT120.

    Thank you,

    Ben Edge
