In the debate of who owns who, the answer is toro owns exmark and the turbo force deck (toro) is way better than the ultra cut or the triton deck (exmark). The turbo force deck is a lot more precise, does better in wet, damp, thick or high grass. Hands down toro is way more superior the exmark.ive owned 3 exmarks and 3 toros the only difference is the deck (which is the difference) and a few other small features. Doesn't matter what kind of mower you have without a good deck it's crap and it'd also be nice if exmark would come up with their own ideas because they try to take credit for what toro does.

Randy, last time I checked Toro owns Exmark . I hope that info brings things a little more into perspective.

I think you are a little mis-guided here with the machines. Usually, Exmark comes out first with machines. Exmark developed the Ultra-Vac 10 years before Toro finally switched to Exmark's style. Same as the Vantage mower. Exmark is still their own company. Toro just owns the patents and financials. Both are great machines. They are pretty much like GMC and Chevy. Most of the time they test ideas and innovate with Exmark. Once the idea is proven they will put it in the Toro.

Like Saturn was its own Company before GM pulled the plug. Like I said Toro calls the shots since they own the Patents, control the $$$$.
