We have 3 Toro Belt-Drives that are 12 years old still running and 1 Hydro that has 1600 hours no significant problems. Clutches fail at about 500 hours guaranteed, other than minor belt replacement and a spindle replacement every now and then they have been great. BTW, ours are the 44" floating deck with 14 and 15 Kohler.

My Proline 36" belt drive is 6 years old and never had anything serious go wrong.

Had a Toro 52 HydroWalk w/ 20HP Kohler for over 2 years and only had one small issue w/ a clutch pulley which was warrantied. Otherwise a great mower that hauled my 270lbs around w/ no problems.

The Ogura clutches don't last & are relatively eXpensive to fix or replace....otherwise no major problems....eXcept the Poor Cutting SFS Deck.
