I have a 36" Toro WB. The tranny belt just went out on it. It looks as if I need to take off the clutch/pulley assembly in order to get the new one on. Is that correct?

If I need to do that, how do I hold the crank shaft still while I loosen the bolt?

It is model number 30094. 2007 year.

I have a toro 52" w/b. I am assuming that you are talking about the belt that comes from the pully/clutch on the engine to the transmission. There should be a tensioner pully that you loosen and then you have to remove the bracket that keeps the clutch in place and also the wire that controls it. I can take pictures later tonight if needed.

Okay. I wasn't sure if I could move the bracket or if I had to pull the whole thing off. Thanks.

If you do need to pull the clutch you'll need an impact most likely. I think you can take one bolt out of the bracket and loosen the other and get the belt in.
