Thinking about purchasing one for next year, vacum system and all for the fall, just wanted to get some opinions on them if anyone has one.

I bought a Toro Z Master in the Spring of 2003. 25hp Kohler with a 52" deck, and I've been well pleased with it. I have been told by other lco's that it has a better cut than some of the other machines, when they compared their's to mine. Hope this helps. Tony

I have a Toro Z with a 60" deck. I love it. However, it is not ideal for humps or smaller jobs. It scalps over some humps. But, for larger sites and parks...WOW!
I also have a Walker GHS 42". I am going to sell it next spring for the Toro version. I use it as my primary mower and for leaves. Th Toro has less moving parts and I can get all of my equipment(Toro) serviced at the same dealer.

The Turbo Force decks were a huge improvement for Toro over the old SFS decks....

I had a 60" earlier this year but sold it for Exmark gear... I love Exmark

I use Toro 60" Z turns and will continue to use them. I do like the new decks with the adjustable baffel and would recommend buying only that deck because it is so good and is a must with the vac system.

You guys all use 60s but that would be major overkill on my yards. If i got the 52 what HP would reccomend?

25hp Kaw. As Tim Allen says "More Power" and the truth is that 19hp works fine but what if you need to cut heavy wet grass and want to cut at full speed. The JD 717A's we have do have the 19hp's. However, if the option was presented for a 25hp, we would take it.

I was leaning towards the 25 because i have 18 on my WBs and they weigh a lot less then a Z turn plus im not sitting on the WB like i would on the rider.
