Trying to make choice between the two.
Toro 19hp Kaw, 52", $6300 VS. Snapper 21hp Kaw, 52", $6500
I like both machines but the snapper has much more solid deck.
Would like to get some pros and cons for both models if possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't go wrong with either choice as far as engine selection...We use Snapper equipment exclusively, so I 'm a little biased there. Both are good, solid machines, but which dealer offers better, faster turnaround on service and parts/repairs? That can weigh heavily more than the 2-300.00 price difference. Just my .02......mmmmmm......donuts....aaaaaahhhhh

Given the engine choices,I'd go with the Snapper.Always go for more power.I've got a 18HP on my 44" Toro.Don't know if 1 more HP would be enough for that 52" deck when the grass gets thick and wet.

Both mowers are at the same dealer and that was the exact thought lingering in my mind, is 19hp big enough for 52" deck thanks for the replies.

:) I don't know about Snapper riders, but ive got a 93yr 52" walkbehind and it cuts great still today, i run doubles on it and my Scag 52, so i no there older walks were very solid machines..Exmarks are the best riders IMPO and Scag's are the best Walks.....Marks Mowing Service
