Just got home from work & Lesco is closed but I'll call them tomorrow. In the meantime, is there anything that can be applied to woody hedges such as Indian Hawthorn or Ilex Nana that won't damage them? A post em. spray would be ideal as the torpedo grass has really over run some of these shrubs.

Also if there is a product, any thoughts how it would react with softer shrubs such as Arbicola? (a.k.a. schefflera)

This area is the central gulf coast of FL, if it matters.

By hand is probally the only way without damage to the existing shrubs, not that you want to hear that. The throw down a pre-m. I suppose round-up would work as long as your caeful of the folliage.
