    Greetings everyone.

Another Season is upon us or soon to be upon us. My Poll is regarding your companies total equipment cost. This is price paid, not current or depreciated value. If you lease equipment, consider the retail price anyway.

If you are one of the youngsters here, do not figure parents or families equipment or vehicles into the total, only the money you have spent out of your pocket.

Do not figure previous equipment or sold equipment, just current.

    For instance, my equipment costs:

    Used truck $2000, New Mower 3400, trailer 1000, 21" mower 700, blower 400, edger 300, trimmer 300, velky 100, gobbler and mulch kit 200.

    Total current equipment cost: $8,400

Feel free to break it down or just vote in the category.

    52" Scag used - $800 + mods/attachments = $900? total
21" Lawn Boy push- gotten in another deal with other items so about $35 for it used
    21" Yard machines s/p = free + 23 cents for flywheel key
    Stihl FS80 trimmer = $259 new
Echo SRM2400 split boom $140 used
Echo HCR1500 hedge trimmers $100 used
    Kaw blower = $35 used
    Trailer = $450 used
Not counting my parents van that is the current tow vehicle

I think you need to put a few more choices in the UPPER fields.

With new trucks costing ~ $35K it doesn't leave much room for other "stuff".

A few on here have multiple ZTR's, a few even have wide area mowers costing alone what your upper range includes.

I have all older equipment (Trucks trailers, etc) and only have one ZTR and one WB. And that puts me way over the $40K mark easily.

To replace everything I currently have now with BRAND NEW 2003 equipment (nothing extra, just replace what I have with comparable 2003 equipment) , I'd be looking at close to $75K real easy. And I'm just a small one man band operation with NO employees.
