02 chevy 6.0 crew cab with 305-70-16 pulling 16 foot vnose enclosed or 14 foot dump and get 195 miles to a tank consistently. 7.5 mpg which blows. Oh well the truck is paid for so there is no sense in trading it in for a diesel, especially with diesel going through the roof.

I've seen 3.77 to 3.99 in a 10 mile area. Saw 4.09 on the interstate on Monday.

Found diesel for 3.69 yesterday and regular for 3.79! Only downside is that was right after I just filled the mowers with 4.04 gas :hammerhead:

I get 10.8 to 11.8 mpg consistently, towing a 3500 lb loaded trailer with the Ranger. It is a 3.0V6. I think the F350 diesel would do just as good but is too big to park on the narrow roads I mow on. The Ranger pulls the load good as long as I don't try to use overdrive.

Do you have the 4.6? I get around the same with my 2010 F150 4.6 pulling a 6x12. If I pull my 16x83" it will get 11 to 12.
