Didn't know if you guys have seen these.
Is the protype broke?? I see a bag of tools in the last photo.
Do you have any other details, like when it will be on the US market? What model year?
Yes in US toyota is working on it now
it would be nice if they really built things the way they do in these shows. I would love to have a truck with 20" wheels, actual tires instead of donuts, and a diamond plate bed.
So Toyota doesn't even have a "HD" truck yet and they are just going to jump head on into a 1ton. geeze, that is scary. I guess they are going to put that little 4.6L gasser in it to pull all that weight around too?
Thanks for the pics, looks nice with 20's
My 07 has a 5.7l
Hino 6 cyl. Turbo diesel(intended for 35,000# truck)
Eaton 5 speed trans.
Hino rear end
Meritor rear end
Alcoa 22.5x9 Wheels
This just to let people know toyota is looking at the diesel
Ha, funny. But Toyota has made 1-ton trucks for a loooong time. Remember those dumpy little ones with long beds from the 80's? The ones they made campers on? LOL. Strange setups, but they sure ran. Still see them all the time...
i would love to have that truck, that thing looks sweet. i bet it pulls like a mother, and does it comfortably too.
I was reading a article bout it. It showed a 5th wheel hitch that 24k on it. Ppl in the article said that the thing could probally tow 24 k because of what it said on the 5th wheel hitch. U think that is true?
