On the new (late 2009, 2010) second-generation large Wright Stander, Wright uses wider wheel motor mounts on the 61" Stander to increase the track width over the ~47" track width of the 48" and 52" Standers. Does anyone own one of these mowers? If so, what is the track width? Does it decrease scalping compared with the first-generation 61" Stander? What about hillside stability?

Are you talking about the regular stander or the ZK.

Regular Stander. Here is a picture of a prototype that was for sale on ebay (I looked up the parts manual, and WMI specifies a different, wider motor mount for the 2nd generation 61" than for the 48" and 52", although the weld design of the production model is different from the picture). It looks to have a track of 6-8" wider than a 48" or 52" Stander.
