I read this this morning on my home page.

TAMPA, Fla. -- A tree trimmer was killed when he was pulled into a wood chipper as he tried to clear it free of jammed branches.

Using his hands for support, the man climbed into the chipper and kicked a large bundle of branches through Thursday, authorities said.

The machine pulled half his body through its blades, killing him instantly, said Hillsborough County sheriff's Lt. Fred Asteasuainzarra.

Authorities did not release the man's name, pending notification of family.

The man, in his mid-50s, worked for Albury Tree Service of Tampa. He was working alongside two other men and two women in a subdivision.

Asteasuainzarra said one of the other men turned off the chipper immediately after the accident.

My condolences to this guy and his family.

I always hate to hear of a tragedy like this, but it sounds to me like we have Darwin Award winner here.
