whats the best way to balance a trailer. I dont wan't to much weight in the back so it swings around but I also need to be able to lift it on the trailer hitch by myself. Any tips on best way to balance. It's a 6 by 12 single axle. Right now I only have a 500 lb walk behind but should be adding a mid size ztr or wright stander sometime. Thanks

mount a trailer jack on it and place the rear of the mower over the axle . that should do it.

Rule of thumb is - you should always have 10% more weight to the front of the axle than in the rear. It also helps to have some weight in the back of the towing vechile when towing.
    Hope this helps

Yeah, get a trailer jack on it and back up close. If you have a decent size truck you'll be ok, better to have too much tongue weight than too little.

i noticed today that the tire on the side of my trailer as the trimmer rack is showing cord. i this because of weight distibution being uneven. the tire psi seems to be fine.
