Trailer gate

    I have to put a gate/ramp on my 16' trailer. Its an older model and it sits up high off the ground. The welder told me today he can do a 6' bi-fold gate with spring assist for $200. Is this a good price?

    Seems like a good deal to me. I had a ramp gate installed on a open trailer years ago by CARMATE and it was 400.

    If that's labor and materials it seems very cheap.

    Yep, if the $200 includes material/labor that's cheap!

    I will agree, that's really cheap! I don't see how the materials could be less than $200 even... Last time I bought some steel I about had a stroke, and that was 2 years ago.

    If that's the real total price, you better take the man a couple cases of cold beer.

    You should drop off your trailer today before he changes his price. That's cheap!

    i put a 6x8 spring assit on my spare trailer it was 1000.00 o front right side
