Right now i have three trailers- 18'82", 16'x6', and a 4'x8' (from northern tool) I need to replace the crappy 4'x8' with somthing that can handle a lazer hp. I have gotten a few prices and they seem high.

    single axle
    5x10 with gate $1,145
    6x12 with gate $1,295

    Tandem Axle
6x12 with gate and brakes $1,750
6x14 with gate and brakes $1,795
6x16 with gate and brakes $1,845

how do these prices sound to you guys?
I feel like i could get one out of town for less.
Does anyone on the east coast know any good places i could try?

    Thanks for the help
    -Nick

O bought my 6.5X12 last year for $1095. Those seem a little higher than around here but it depends on the market. Are those prices what they are asking??? If so you should always try to dicker.

LB- is that a tandem axle? YEs those are asking prices but i still think they are pretty high. I will be working them down but I have always been able to work the big trailers down 100-200 bucks

No its a single axel, its a little heavier duty than a regular one.

Those are high prices for down here. Here they are like the one in NC saw a 6x10 today w/gate for 635. I think for a dual axel 6x16 are going for around 850 here. I think for that kind of money I would take a little trip and save some green backs.

Around here trailer prices seem weird. Usually a person can go to Wal Mart or a place like it, and buy something cheaper than they can from an individual. Mass buying power I guess. But we have 3 independent companies around here that build and sell there own NICE trailers. Lowes also sells trailers. The weird thing is that Lowes is sky high compared to the little independent places.:dizzy:
